Manchester United's manager Sir Alex Ferguson
Sir Alex Ferguson has been named as England's Manager of the Year after a poll of fellow professionals conducted by the League Manager's Association.
"It is a tremendous honour that my fellow managers should deem me worthy of this award," said the 66-year-old, who won the Premier League for the tenth time with United and will lead them into the UEFA Champions League final against Chelsea FC next Wednesday. "I'm very proud to receive it."
