Doni extends Roma stay

Brazilian goalkeeper Alexander Doni, seen here in April 2008, has signed a contract extension at Italian Cup finalists AS Roma until June 2012.

ROME (AFP) - Brazilian goalkeeper Doni has signed a contract extension at Italian Cup finalists AS Roma until June 2012.

The goalkeeper will earn 3.8 million euros in his first year, rising year on year to 4.3 million euros in the final year of his contract.

Doni joined Roma in 2005 from Juventude and has been first choice ever since arriving.
