30 million on Shevchenko did wonders for the side, what do they think spending 70 million on one player will achieve? You could spend that money instead on 7 players each worth 10 million and be all the better for it. What if he gets a long-term injury and becomes a flop? Abramovich is throwing his money away.
seventy million for a right back is crazy.chelsea can buy most of the premier league right backs for seventy.why not trade him for drogba if real madrid really need him?
