Draw does Rangers no favours

Rangers FC could only draw 0-0 with Hibernian FC on Sunday to leave them seven points adrift of Scottish league leaders Celtic FC. Daniel Cousin had an effort ruled out for offside and Barry Ferguson drew a fine save out of Andy McNeil with a close-range shot, but it was not a classic performance.

Manager Walter Smith said of the UEFA Cup finalists: "A little bit of spark was missing from our play. And I don't think it is physical tiredness because we finished the stronger team."
