Rangers FC defender Carlos Cuéllar has been voted Scottish Football Writers' Association Player of the Year. The award is the 26-year-old's second of the season having picked up the Scottish Premier League version recently.
Cuéllar, who edged out Celtic FC winger Aiden McGeady, said: "In Spanish football we don't have this kind of award, but to be voted the best player in the country in my first year is a great honour for me."
