Arsenal LFC

Arsenal LFC struck three goals in six second-half minutes to beat Leeds United LFC 4-1 and land an English league and cup double.

Although today's FA Women's Cup final was scoreless at half-time, thanks to the excellence of Leeds keeper Carly Telford, the Yorkshire club's resistance was eventually broken by Kelly Smith, with further efforts from Jayne Ludlow and Lianne Sanderson putting Arsenal firmly in command. Jessica Clarke reduced arrears, before Smith grabbed her second of the match.
