Serie B match suspended after suicide attempt

TREVISO, May 3 (SW) - The Serie B match between Treviso and Grosseto was suspended after twenty minutes, following a suicide attempt just outside the stadium.

A 42 year old female police officer shot herself through the head, and is currently in critical condition at a local hospital.

Fans that were seated in the part of the stadium behind which the attempt took place, notified the referee of what had happened, after which the match was suspended.
