LONDON, May 3 (SW) - Fulham may have done themselves an enormous favour today by beating Birmingham City 2-0 in a relegation battle.
American Brian McBride broke the deadlock for the Londoners after 52 minutes, and Erik Nevland secured the victory close to full time.
Fulham now share the 17th spot with Reading, but have a better goal record.
