Early finish for Curro Torres
Real Murcia CF's former Spain defender Curro Torres has abandoned hope of playing again this season as he requires a second knee operation within the space of seven months.
Torres, 31, has made only two Primera División appearances since joining Real Murcia from Valencia CF last summer. He has been sidelined by surgery for calf and knee problems, leaving him unable to help a Real Murcia team sitting second-bottom in the table.
