Cannavaro: all eyes on Villarreal

Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro has said it will be impossible to ignore Villarreal CF's home meeting with Getafe CF on Sunday. Should the league's second-placed team fail to prevail, Madrid will be confirmed as Primera División champions before their game at CA Osasuna.

"I'm sure we'll either be watching or we'll be getting updates but we'll also be focused on our own game," he said. Whatever the result in Villarreal, Madrid can guarantee their 31st title with victory in Pamplona.
