Cup puts Artmedia in sight of double

FC Artmedia Petržalka won their second Slovakian Cup as an extra-time goal earned a 1-0 victory over FC Spartak Trnava in Zilina.

ìk Pospìch, who met Ján Kozák's cross as the game looked to be headed for penalties. Spartak Trnava, cup winners on five occasions, were often the better side in a tight contest but struggled to create chances against a solid Artmedia defence. And it was the eventual victors who came closest to prevailing in normal time as Juraj Piroška wasted two clear opportunities.
