Ventspils cling to coach Grigorchuk
FK Ventspils have extended the contract of coach Roman Grigorchuk until 2012. The Ukrainian tactician has established Ventspils as Latvia's top team in recent years, winning league titles in 2006 and 2007 as well as the Latvian Cup in 2005 and 2007.
"Roman Grigorchuk is the key to us reaching our various aims," said club president Jurijs Bespalovs. "This extension shows that both parties are satisfied with the other's work."
