Nuno Gomes is backing Portugal's forwards to prove that the country possess a scoring threat to match their more obvious playmaking prowess.
"I don't agree with the criticism [of our attacking play], especially as a striker myself," said the SL Benfica man. "We have players like Hugo Almeida, Ariza Makukula, Hélder Postiga and João Tomás so I don't see a problem. We know exactly what we are capable of."
