Celtic super-sub Georgios Samaras insists he is ready to fire the Clydesdale Bank Premier League champions back to the top of the table next week against Rangers if he is given the chance.

Samaras scored the Hoops´ third goal in a 3-0 win against Gretna at Almondvale on Sunday, which took them within three points of the SPL leaders, who have a game in hand.

Ahead of Saturday´s crunch clash at Ibrox, Greece striker Samaras said: "It doesn´t matter if I play against Gretna, Rangers or Barcelona, I think I can score in all games."
