England coach Fabio Capello has recalled Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson to the squad for Wednesday's friendly in France after Scott Carson withdrew with a knee injury. Robinson lost his starting place in November and missed out in Capello's first squad last month.

Matthew Upson has also pulled out, while Gabriel Agbonlahor, Ashley Young, Shaun Wright-Phillips, David Wheater and Jermain Defoe are left out as the squad is reduced from 30 to 23.
