VfB Stuttgart defender Ludovic Magnin is out of Switzerland's home friendly against Germany in Basel on Wednesday after partially tearing ligaments in his left ankle an hour into Saturday's 4-1 Bundesliga win against FC Hansa Rostock.
It is not yet clear for how long the left-back will be sidelined.
