Rovaniemi PS have sacked head coach Tom Saintfiet a month before the Finnish Veikkausliiga begins.

Saintfiet was only appointed at the turn of the year but RoPS' disappointing performance in the pre-season league cup prompted his dismissal. Assistant coach Matti Helin will take temporarily charge.
