Besiktas fail to overhaul Fenerbah?

UEFA Champions League quarter-finalists Fenerbahçe SK remain top in Turkey after Beºiktaº JK lost 2-1 at Istanbul BB SK. Fenerbahçe moved two points ahead with Friday's 3-0 defeat of bottom side Kasımpaºa SK thanks to Alex, Semih ªentürk and Deivid goals.

Beºiktaº fell behind early today through their former forward İbrahim Akın; Filip Hološko equalised but Beºiktaº had Bobo sent off before the break and Necati Ateº headed a late winner. Galatasaray AS can move level with Fenerbahçe by beating Denizlispor on Sunday.
