Teenage midfielder Barýþ Memiþ has signed a three-year contract extension with Turkish side Trabzonspor as he looks to become the permanent replacement for Gökdeniz Karadeniz, who left for Russian club FC Rubin Kazan.

The 18-year-old is now under contract until May 2012, having scored on his debut in the Black Sea team's 5-0 Turkish Cup win against MKE Kýrýkkalespor in January. He has played seven league matches since, scoring once.
