Torino FC will be without Gianluca Comotto for the rest of the Serie A season after the full-back twisted his right knee during the 1-0 home defeat by Udinese Calcio last night.

The 29-year-old, who has scored one goal in 23 league games this term, will undergo surgery this week. Goalkeeper Matteo Sereni and midfielder Simone Barone also suffered thigh injuries yesterday and face two-to-three week absences.
