OSC Lille Métropole defensive midfielder Adil Rami described as "magnificent" his call-up for France's friendly against England next week.

The 22-year-old was the surprise inclusion in Raymond Domenech's squad, given that he has only 17 career league appearances to his name, all with Lille in Ligue 1. The former gardener said he "was not expecting such an honour".
