Real Racing Club Santander defender Ezequiel Garay will be sidelined for six weeks after damaging cartilage in his knee during Wednesday's Copa del Rey semi-final reverse against Getafe CF.

The 21-year-old Argentinian international limped off towards the end of the 1-1 draw in Santander – which resulted in a 4-2 aggregate defeat – having injured his right knee. The former CA Newell's Old Boys player has made 22 Primera División appearances for Racing this season, his third in Spain.
