Sporting Clube de Portugal have moved alongside fourth-placed Vitória FC in the Portuguese Liga after a 4-1 home win against CD Nacional on Monday.
The victory, a first in four league outings for Paulo Bento's side, came courtesy of goals from Liedson, with two, João Moutinho and Yannick Djaló. Sporting and the Setubal-based Vitória have 37 points, four less than both SL Benfica and Vitória SC from Guimaraes. Sporting will play Rangers FC in the UEFA Cup quarter-finals.
