FULL TIME: After a hectic final phase, the referee whistles for full time and Croatia take the points.

Minute 90+4: It looks like only Lehmann was booked during the post-red card protests.

Minute 90+3: And another booking, this time for Modric for a rough tackle on Frings.

Minute 90+3: In the following protests, another few Germans are booked. We'll update you on that soon.

Minute 90+1: RED CARD GERMANY - Bastian Schweinsteiger pushes Leko and gets a direct red card!

Minute 90+1: Germany get away there as Lahm almost trips the ball into his own goal. It goes wide though.

Minute 90+1: Three minutes are added.

Minute 89: Croatia remain quite focused with a few minutes to go. In fact they're still trying to score a third, albeit slowly.

Minute 85: The Croatian defense gets another addition as Knezevic comes on for Kranjcar.

Minute 82: Löw makes another change too with Kevin Kuranyi replacing Fritz.

Minute 80: Bilic performs a defensive change with Srna coming off for Leko.

Minute 79: <b>GOAL GERMANY (2-1) LUKAS PODOLSKI</b> gets the ball right in front of his feet in the Croatian area and uses all his force to strike past Pletikosa for 2-1. Things aren't decided yet!

Minute 77: Pranjic gets in the way as Ballack tries to get a pass for Miroslav Klose. It would have been dangerous otherwise.

Minute 75: Michael Ballack gets a yellow card for a foul on Rakitic.

Minute 73: And Schweinsteiger has just come on for Gomez. The substitute only needed a minute to create some danger in front of the Croatian goal but without result so far.

Minute 72: Olic is done for the match as coach Bilic takes him off for Petric.

Minute 71: Many Germans will be reminded of the 3-0 loss they suffered against Croatia in the quarter finals of the 1998 World Cup.

Minute 67: Srna takes the set piece but hits the wall.

Minute 65: Croatia get a free kick at a very dangerous position, right in front of the goal. The perpetrator is a very angry Torsten Frings.

Minute 62: <b>GOAL CROATIA (2-0) IVICA OLIC</b> - A right winged cross is deflected onto the near post by Lehmann and bounces right in front of Ivica Olic who have no problems scoring Croatia's second!

Minute 58: Germany are pushing for the equaliser and Croatia need to be very concentrated. So far, big chances are still hard to create though for Germany.

Minute 52: Lehmann is having difficulties controlling a distance shot and almost lets it slide behind him.

Minute 49: Lahm almost reaches Ballack in the penalty area but Pletikosa gets in between.

Minute 46: The second half begins with David Odonkor in the place of Jansen, who clearly was to blaim for the opening goal.

HALF TIME - It's half time in Klagenfurt and Germany have a lot to think about. They'll need to do better in the second half.

Minute 45+1: Simunic gets booked for bad sportsmanship.

Minute 45+1: Only one minute is added to the first half.

Minute 42: Jens Lehmann saves his team as he blocks an attempt from Kranjcar at about five meters from the goal. Many goalkeepers would have let it through.

Minute 40: Metzelder heads just over the crossbar from the second corner kick. Good opportunity.

Minute 39: Germany get a corner kick but have to take it a second time as too many players are pushing and pulling in the penalty area.

Minute 33: Michael Ballack launches a powerful free kick on Croatia's goal but goalkeeper Pletikosa makes the save.

Minute 30: Big chance for Croatia to double the lead but Kranjcar strikes it well over the crossbar.

Minute 27: Srna gets a yellow card for a foul on Lukas Podolski.

Minute 24: <b>GOAL CROATIA (1-0) - DARIO SRNA</b> - Pranjic receives the ball on the left wing and sends in a cross. Defender Jansen fails to control and allows Srna to score from close range. Croatia lead!

Minute 23: Some fans apparently managed to sneak some fireworks into the stadium, and security seems pretty worried about it.

Minute 17: A Croatian corner kick is just a bit too high and flies over the penalty area. A bit lower and it would have been dangerous.

Minute 14: Croatia get the best chance so far as Lehmann misjudges a cross from the right. The ball is headed well over though.

Minute 9: Germany get a corner kick but it's cleared by Croatia's defense.

Minute 8: Srna is back and it's eleven versus eleven again.

Minute 6: Srna is receiving injury treatment after a tackly by Mertesacker.

Minute 5: No chances yet in the opening minutes but the pace is quite high, with play going from one side to the other and back.

Kick-off: The match is underway in Klagenfurt.

Pre-match: The players have arrived to the pitch and are about to begin their second match in the tournament. The winner of this clash, is practically through to the next round.
