Albert Luque, here for Newcastle

AMSTERDAM (SW) - Ajax Amsterdam have given Spanish forward Albert Luque the freedom to accept a good offer from another team.

Dutch sports magazine Voetbal International reports that future Ajax manager Marco van Basten doesn't consider Luque part of his plans. The same goes for Robert Schilder, Nicolae Mitea and Edgar Manucharyan.

Ajax' technical director Danny Blind explained: "Those guys don't really have to go. They should only go if someone is willing to pay a fee according to the market."

Luque joined Ajax at the start of this season, after two seasons at Premiership side Newcastle United. The 30-year-old began his career ten years ago at Mallorca, Spain.
