Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari insisted Frank Lampard was staying with Chelsea as reports broke that the club was set to make the midfielder Britain´s highest paid footballer.
I don't know why Lampard wants to go to Italy. He is the soul of Chelsea, he is Englishman and Chelsea can afford to give him probably the best salary! Perhaps there are some major tensions inside the club!
Lampard is no spring chicken, but still has a lot to offer. Stay where you are Frank and enjoy your football at Chelsea. You cannot be short of a bob or too! Forget the big Italian money machines, You are playing in the best football league in the world.
