Deco not in it for the money

Portuguese international midfielder Deco told reporters that his move to Chelsea was not money – related.

He went on to say that if it had been for money then he would have left FC Barcelona to play in the United States alongside starts such as David Beckham.

Clubs in the United States and Saudi Arabia had shown interest in the player.
