Lets face it...Totti is highly over-rated. Can't see what he has done that's so great in his era - esp when you look at the likes Zidane, Figo, Beckham & Ronaldo.

I don;t know why Roma fans gets so excited sometimes.

i think players with attitudes like totti (rooney, ballack, lehmann, etc.) are good for the game. they spice it up a little. i hate seein a game of nothing but honorable decent players who are afraid to get in a scrap

And I will never forget the disgusting act of spitting on Poulsen. Just for that, he should have been banned for a year !!!!!

Actually I would say exactly the same thing, even if Totti had led Italy (??? - he was never the captain, not team leader, in any way) to Euro glory.

This has nothing to do with winning or losing, it has to do with principles and civilised behaviour !!

Is Totti acting out of line here? I haven't been fans of his teams, but I know AS Roma means everything to him and I know Totti felt the events in Portugal highly dishonored Totti himself. He came out with public apologies and all of that.

Jxp101, we've heard that music too many times. It's time to change the disc from 78 rpm to 45 or whatever rpm they use today. You would have done much better if you had completed your profile. But maybe even you have no idea of who you are or where you come from!

OneLoveSoccer: what happened in that game was Totti was getting whacked and kicked in the legs more than something that Poulsen said. I bet the wikipedia article on Totti would have something on this episode. The thing is, I've heard similar things have happened before but I can't quote. Totti has shown loyalty to Roma even though he could make big lire at other clubs, he has stuck with the team he's always been a fan of, AS Roma. Also, Totti has been in their system since he was about 17, 18, something like that, so it may be over 10 years he's played for the main squad.
