Arsenal defend season ticket price hike

LONDON (SW) – There has been an increase of 4½% in season ticket prices at the Emirates Stadium.
The new hike sees an increase in the cheapest season ticket from ₤885 to ₤925. This leaves Arsenal with the highest season ticket prices in the Barclays Premier League. Liverpool has the second highest prices, but a staggering ₤275 cheaper than Arsenal’s.
Defending the high prices of season tickets Arsenal director Danny Fizman was quick to point out that Arsenal’s tickets include all cup and Champions League matches for which other clubs charge extra. At Arsenal they are included in the price of the season ticket.
Fizman was quick to point out that this was the first price increase in four years.
