Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United

Newly appointed Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has denied that he has had any influence on Cristiano Ronaldo and his future with Manchester United.

The former Brazilian and Portuguese national coach reacted strongly to reports that had said that he had advised Ronaldo to leave Manchester United for Spanish champions Real Madrid.

Scolari added that he knows that the strong – willed Ronaldo has a strong mind and that he is fully capable of making up his own mind.

He concluded that with or without Ronaldo Manchester United will be hard to oppose in the Premier League this season.

Not cunning enough. i think he will make a mess of things at chelsea. he will not do well against the likes of arsenal, ManU and liverpool.....he doesnt have the chops for the premier league. toooooo much pressure

Easy for Scolari to say, but he knows very well that a United without Ronaldo would make his job a hell of alot easier. I wonder if Ronaldo does end up at Madrid and for the sake of the debate Scolari ended up as Barca coach would he not advise Ronaldo to go to Italy or back to England. Just a thought!
