Former Poland captain Piotr Swierczewski enjoyed a winning return to Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski by helping them triumph 1-0 over Legia Warszawa on Saturday.

Swierczewski, capped 70 times by Poland, rejoined Groclin following six months at Korona Kielce and made a second-half substitute appearance against Legia. The 35-year-old spent 2006/07 with Groclin who are fourth in the Ekstraklasa.
