BERLIN (AFP) - Schalke 04 saw their Champions League qualifying hopes suffer a setback on Friday when Brazilian striker Grafite scored twice to give Wolfsburg a 2-1 win.
Schalke could have moved into second place in the German table if they had won and they were on course for three points when Uruguayan striker Vicente Sanchez scored in the 65th minute for his first Bundesliga goal.
But Grafite pulled Wolfsburg level in the 73rd minute and then scored the winner from the penalty spot with six minutes left to play.
For Schalke, who take on Porto in the Champions League last 16 on Tuesday, it was their first defeat in seven matches.
