MILAN (SW) - Brazilian striker Adriano has ended recent rumours that linked the player to teams in his home country, saying that he plans to stay at Serie A leaders Internazionale.
Most rumours pointed in the direction of Flamengo, but nothing of this is true, according to the player: "I have never said that I want to leave Inter.
"I love Flamengo, since I grew up there. I have already made clear that when I return to Brazil, then that would be my destination. But I don't think it will happen now," he said.
Adriano began his career at 'Fla' in 2000, but joined Inter a year later. Since, the forward also represented Fiorentina, Parma and Sao Paulo. This summer, he returned to Milan's San Siro and so far scored one goal in seven appearances.
