BUENOS AIRES (SW) - CA Lanus may still dream of winning the Argentinian championship following a 0-2 win at Velez Sarsfield on Friday.
Lagos put the visiting side in the lead after eight minutes and Sand doubled the advantage shortly before the hour mark to help his side earn three important points.
Lanus are now in second place at one point from leaders Boca Juniors, but a point ahead of San Lorenzo and CA Tigre. That being said, these three teams all still have to play on Sunday.
Boca travel to face Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata, San Lorenzo host CA Independiente and Tigre visit Rosario Central.
