PRAGUE (SW) - Hamburger SV are through to the next round of the UEFA Cup following a 0-2 win at Czech side Slavia Prague. Aston Villa lost but were already through.

Olic put the Germans in the lead in Prague after thirty minutes, and Petric converted a penalty just before the full time whistle to decide the clash. Slavia's Vaniak was sent off for the foul that caused the spotkick.

Aston Villa hosted MSK Zilina of Slovakia and surprisingly lost 1-2. The away side scored early through Leitner and Styvar and Delfouneso's goal on 28 minutes couldn't change things.

Hamburg, Villa and Dutch side Ajax all have six points from three games and are certain of a spot in the next round. Zilina and Slavia Prague are eliminated.
