Senderos to join Milan on loan

MILAN (SW) - The hunt for a defender has finally ended as AC Milan have signed centre back Philippe Senderos on loan from Arsenal.

Italian club AC Milan paid Arsenal 2 million Euros with the option to buy the player at the end of the season for another 8 million.

The 23 year old Swiss international joins newly acquired Andriy Shevchenko in the span of 3 days as Milan look to win their first scudetto since 2004.
