ROME (AFP) - Arsenal's Swiss international defender Philippe Senderos is set to join former Gunners teammate Mathieu Flamini at AC Milan, reports said in Milan and Switzerland late Monday.

The 23-year-old Senderos joined Arsenal from Servette Geneva five seasons ago and soon became a regular under Arsene Wenger.

The Gazzetta Dello Sport said Senderos, who has two years to run on his Arsenal contract, was due in Italy on Tuesday with a view to having a medical amid reports he would initially join on a year-long loan prior to an extended three-year deal.

Swiss daily Le Matin, quoting another report in the Gazzetta, said on its website that Milan would pay 16.2 million Swiss francs (10.1 million euros) for Senderos which would make him the most expensive Swiss player in history.

No not really, he has a bad reputation in England, alot of Arsenal fans don't like him either as he makes costly mistakes.
