Denmark´s Jacobsen set to sign for Everton

LIVERPOOL (AFP) - Everton are set to sign Denmark international defender Lars Christian Jacobsen on a free transfer, according the English Premier League side's website on Monday.

Jacobsen arrived at the club's training centre on Monday, and will sign a one-year deal subject to a successful medical, www.evertonfc.com said.

The 28-year-old spent last year at German side FC Nuremberg and has Champions League experience with FC Copenhagen. He has appeared 16 times for the national squad.
