Real Madrid to "respect Robinho's wishes"

Robinho

MADRID (SW) - Robinho may have given up on a possible transfer to Chelsea, but in a statement released on Friday Real Madrid claim to respect the player's wishes to continue his career elsewhere.

The statement read that Real Madrid would never go against a player's wishes and went on to say that "the only option would be to accept the resolution of the contract, if the player chooses so".

The 24 year old striker joined Real Madrid in 2005 and scored 24 official goals om 99 appearances for the Galacticos.

Recently, the Brazilian revealed to be unhappy at the club and Chelsea became the player's new target. A transfer to the English side currently seems unlikely however.

"The statement read that Real Madrid would never go against a player's wishes"...

hahaha, sounds to me like they talk to Man Utd, rather than Robinho... and hey, they even show how to do it: "the only option would be to accept the resolution of the contract, if the player chooses so".
