Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is beginning to show more interest in Aston Villa’s midfielder Gareth Barry.
Barry who played for England against the Czech Republic on Wednesday night had been involved in a tug – o – war during the off – season between his club Aston Villa and Liverpool.
Liverpool have since turned their attention elsewhere as they found Villa’s asking price too high.
Yesterday (Thursday) the Arsenal boss confirmed his interest in Barry.
However he too may find him too costly to bring to Arsenal, especially seeing that his age means that his resale value could be far lower than his purchase price.
