PORTSMOUTH (AFP) - Portsmouth signed winger Jerome Thomas on a permanent one-year contract on Thursday just a week after taking him on loan from Charlton.
The Premier League club will pay Charlton an undisclosed fee if former Arsenal trainee Thomas, who made his debut in Sunday's defeat at Chelsea, reaches a specified number of appearances.
Chief executive Peter Storrie said: "Jerome could have been recalled by Charlton in January under the terms of his loan, but that's no longer a factor now."
