Kazakhstan beat Andorra as WC qualifiers kick off in Europe

ASTANA (SW) - The European World Cup qualification campaign has begun. In the very first match, Kazakhstan beat Andorra 3-0 to take a temporary lead in Group 6.

Ostapenko was influential for the home side with goals in the 13th and 31st minutes. The third and last goal came from Uzdenov just before the break.

Kazakhstan and Andorra share Group 6 England, Croatia, Belarus and Ukraine.
