PARIS (AFP) - Serbian international Mateja Kezman sealed his move to French first division club Paris St Germain on Tuesday, ending weeks of negotiations with Turkish outfit Fenerbahce.

Kezman, who arrived in Paris on Monday, signed a one-year loan deal with Paul Le Guen's side after successfully completing a medical.

"I'm very happy, it was a childhood dream to come and play in Paris, a big club," Kezman said.

"It's a team with former players such as (Jay-Jay) Okocha, Ronaldinho and Rai, and it's because of this that I agreed to the conditions."

Kezman, 29, spent four years at Dutch club PSV Eindhoven, joining English Premier League side Chelsea in 2004.

He failed to make an impression at the London club and moved to Atletico Madrid the following season. He joined the Turkish side in 2006.

Talks on the Serbian's move to PSG had hit a stumbling block when Fenerbache asked for a repayment of part of Kezman's original signing-on bonus, but on Monday both sides agreed to the deal.

Kezman will now link up with former Chelsea team-mate Claude Makelele.

"I'm delighted that Mateja is joining. Having been close to him at Chelsea, I can say that a very good attacker has arrived at PSG today," Makelele told the club's website on Tuesday.

"Plus, with his technical ability he is someone who can fit into the very heart of the team. He always thinks about what's good for the team," the club captain added.

Such a pathetic transfer for Psg, waste of money. Well, i'm so sorry as a Galatasaray fan that our rival Fenerbahce have sent him, they should be stronger than yesterday besides i'm not sure whether Kezman is a footballer or not. Relegation struggle has just started for Psg it seems.

considering that kezman scored against galatsaray several times, i think it is better in the interests of Galatassaray that he left ;)
