Georgia to face Ireland at neutral venue

TBILISI (SW) - The World Cup qualifier between Georgia and the Republic of Ireland will be played at a yet to be assigned neutral venue. This was decided by world governing body FIFA.
The safety situation in Georgia currently doesn't allow for sports events to be helped in the country.
The Georgian Football Federation has until August 26th to decide where the match is to be held.
In a statement on Tuesday, FIFA said that it "reached this decision after closely monitoring the situation in Georgia and taking note that UEFA also decided to ask Georgian clubs involved in UEFA competitions to play their matches in neutral countries."
The match with Ireland is scheduled for September 6th.
