BIRMINGHAM, England (AFP) - Aston Villa winger Gabriel Agbonlahor signed a new four-year contract with the Premier League club on Friday.
Agbonlahor, who scored in Villa's UEFA Cup qualifying tie against Hafnarfjordur on Thursday, is now tied to Martin O'Neill's team until June 2012, the club confirmed on their website.
"Gabby Agbonlahor has penned a new four-year deal, extending his Villa Park stay until June 2012," the statement read.
The England Under-21 international is the latest player to commit his future to Villa following John Carew's decision to agree a three-year extension earlier this week.
