MADRID (AFP) - France international Julien Escude, who plays for Sevilla, will start training on Friday following recovery from a groin injury, the Spanish first division club said on Thursday.
The 28-year-old defender, who missed the European football championships in June because of the condition, had said in July that he could not put a specific date on his return to fitness.
Meanwhile a further two of Sevilla's players are returning to the side from the injury list, the club said.
Striker Frederic Kanoute and goalkeeper Andres Palop have been named in the Sevilla squad to play in the Carranza Trophy, which also includes Villarreal, Atletico Bilbao and Cadiz.
