Ferguson expects better from Ronaldo

Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo

Manchester United’s manager Sir Alex Ferguson said that he expects his almost ‘maverick’ forward Cristiano Ronaldo to have an even better season this year.

Sir Alex said after his meeting with Ronaldo that the twenty three year old Portuguese winger was happy to be back at his ‘home’, Old Trafford.

He added that there has never been any bad blood between him and his player and that the youngster is still improving.

I'm not sure, phughes. After the vintage year he had the past season it's going to be difficult to repeat. I'm going to go out on a limb: Ronaldo will score less than 20 goals this year.

Ok Fred! I have a pretty good memory. I will remember your words and remind you when he hits his twenty first goal.

phughes, "A short pencil is better than a long memory." Mark my prediction on your calendar.

I think he will score, not 20 or 40, but 30. Torres will do about 25.

Not surprisingly, I agree with tonto...Ronaldo will stink it up so that he can be moved sooner rather than later to RM, and because of his injury recovery on his ankle.

I predict a total goal count of 17 goals in all competitions from the great CR7.
