STOKE, England (AFP) - Senegal midfielder Amdy Faye completed a loan move to Premier League newboys Stoke from Charlton on Friday.
Faye becomes Stoke's third significant pre-season signing after the captures of Dave Kitson and Seyi Olofinjana.
The 31-year-old former Newcastle and Portsmouth star was sent on loan to Rangers last season after losing his place at The Valley, but impressed City boss Tony Pulis during a recent trial.
"Charlton Athletic star Amdy Faye has joined the Potters on loan and could feature in this evening's (Friday) game against Osasuna," a statement on Stoke's website confirmed.
