Amauri makes his choice
BRASILIA (SW) - Juventus player Amauri has made a choice regarding his international career, and will be representing Brazil when given a chance.
Amauri, who is about to receive the Italian nationality, needed a considerable amount of time to make a choice. <a href="http://www.soccerway.com/news/2008/7/20/dunga-and-lippi-increase-pressure-on-amauri" target="blank">This to the dismay</a> of Brazil boss Dunga and Italian coach Lippi.
The 28-year-old made an end to the long wait, in favor of the Seleçao: "I want to play for the team of my country, Brazil. That has been my dream since I was little."
In an interview with British Channel 4, Amauri went on to say that "it would be a great honour to wear the green and gold of Brazil."
It remains to be seen though, whether Dunga will be making use of the forward after his recent comments: "If he is waiting to get in touch with me, he can wait a long time."
