Ronaldinho on his arrival at AC MIlan

AC Milan vice – president Adriano Galliani is confident that the club will make great strides this season given the signings that have been made during the summer.

Galliani made mention of the following key signings that should see them become more of a force in Serie A this season: Flamini from Arsenal; Gianluca Zambrotta from FC Barcelona and Ronaldinho, also of FC Barcelona.

Galliani also made mention of the fact that interest has increased for this season and already an extra 20 000 season tickets have been sold since the Ronaldinho signing.

He had already noticed how the Brazilian star had begun motivating the rest of the team.

Milan bought some very good players and they will do great in the next few years.

WorstTalent where are you ? I'm waiting for some of your usual comments. SoccerWay wouldn't be the same without them !!!!

Ronaldinho may be selling more season tickets, but he's past his best. I think Milan will make top four next season, but I would be surprised if Ronaldinho gels into Serie A instantly. I would be looking out more for Borriello and Alexandre Pato. Both very good, young players.

be patient................my words of wisdom take time to flow.........you know..........LOL

Flamini will be motivated............

Zambrotta will try hard but he's over the hill............

Ronaldinho will depend on his mood...........

overall, i don't see how Milan had gone stronger...........especially with Inzaghi and fatty Ronaldo still around............

with the 2 unmotivated Ronnies around, Pato may catch their virus too..........

WorstTalent,

Don't be so negative. And remember, at the end of next season I may be the one that will remind you of your pre-season words of wisdom and my comments to you may be:

LOL...........DOL............COL............

Milan will once again be in the CL....likely finishing 2nd in Serie A to Inter, but they have strengthened themselves for the coming years.

Yeah, with teenagers like Zambrotta and Ronaldinho. Milan has never been so threadbare since Berlusca took over in 1986.

Ajax, can you send me a copy of your Soccer statistics manual? I think I could use one!

PS. Does you manual refer to 28 and 30 year old players as being old?

Tonto, I hate to disappoint you but I'm not using any sort of manual. All I do is google and here come the statistics that sometimes give you sleepless nights. LOL.
